5 bold, beautiful, big-eared babies! They all have tear marks on their cheeks, light 'night eyes' on their extremely large ears, incredibly short fat tails, and wonderful horizontal black spotting patterns. They are little round fuzzy butterballs just like little serval cubs. They are starting to enter the fuzzy stage so it's hard to see their patterns but just look at those faces!!!! Bengal and Savannah kittens go through a magnificent metamorphosis during the first few months of it's life. Just like cubs in the wild, at about 4 weeks of age Bengal and Savannah kittens typically begin developing a 'camouflage' coat that hides their pattern with gray tipped guard hairs we call the 'ugly fuzzies' . Usually between the ages of 4-9 months the sleek adult coat begins to re-emerge. Unfortunately, the fuzzies just happen to coincide with the time most people begin picking out their kitten so we like to post our initial photos before kittens enter the fuzzies. Additional photos are available upon request. This is a Jujukat kitten, Zoomer, going through the metamorphosis....
