Bengal and Savannah kittens go through a magnificent metamorphosis during the first few months of it's life. Just like cubs in the wild, at about 4 weeks of age Bengal and Savannah kittens typically begin developing a 'camouflage' coat that hides their pattern with gray tipped guard hairs we call the 'ugly fuzzies' . Usually between the ages of 4-9 months the sleek adult coat begins to re-emerge. Unfortunately, the fuzzies just happen to coincide with the time most people begin picking out their kitten so we like to post our initial photos before kittens enter the fuzzies.
